JOSÉ DE SAN MARTÍN             

He was born in Yapeyú, in Argentina, province of Corrientes on February 25^th 1778 .

In 1811 he resigned his military career in Spain and embarked in the sail ship George Canning from England to Buenos Aires. In October of 1812, the members of the lodge head a movement that intends to remove some members of the First Triumvirate. The Town Hall named him part of the Second Triumvirate , who, soon after, called to an Assembly of Delegates of the Provinces with the purpose of dictating a Constitution.

Anecdotes :

He was the liberator of  South América , he realized that it was impossible to conquer Lima city, the capital of Perú, that was the center of the Spanish power, by the terrestrial way of the heights of the Andes. He conceived the idea of crossing the mountain range to Chile and to attack the city of Lima by sea way.

After he disembarked realistic army from Peru, advanced on the capital of Chile. The 19^th of March, in a night attack, the Spanish army defeated the independents and general O´Higgins was wounded.

Description

He seemed hard working , generous , smart, independent, organized and famous for his decisions among the people. He looked old, important, and stubborn because he don´t listened to the commandants and he did what ever he wont .he had got one child, called Merceditas, he wrote maximas for her . He was professional soldier, atractive man , and  he appeared to by loyal with his nation.

He had brown eyes and short black hair. he was dynamic and well built medium hight.

But the history about the cross of the Andes was lie because he cross in a donkey no in a white horse, he don’t cross the Andes with our head held high, he cross in stretchar because he was very ill.
